GODAN supports the proactive sharing of open data to make information about agriculture and nutrition available, accessible and usable to deal with the urgent challenge of ensuring world food security.  It is a rapidly growing group, currently with over 292 partners from national governments, non-governmental, international and private sector organisations that have committed to a joint Statement of Purpose.

The initiative focuses on building high-level support  among governments, policymakers, international organizations and business.  GODAN promotes collaboration to harness the growing volume of data generated by new technologies to solve long-standing problems and to benefit farmers and the health of consumers. KIRUCODO

robKikandwa Rural Communities Development Organization (KIRUCODO) is a Non-Governmental Organization registered with NGO Board (S. 5914/ 6476) under the Non-Governmental Organizations Registration statute, 1989. Further, the Organization is incorporated as a Non-Profit group under Section 16(1) of the Companies Act with Reg. No. 109960. Currently the Organization is in Special status with the Economic and Social Council of the UN since 2011. The Organization was formed mainly to focus on Rural Communities development in various sectors for self empowerment. Communication without Borders aspires to be a world class front liner in delivering the best integrated communication solutions to civil society, government and private sector.

MISSION STATEMENT:
To team with government, private sector and civil society in collecting, creating and disseminating content that educates, informs and inspires in a sustained manner.

GFAR is a networked organization, made up of Partners working together, through collective advocacy and actions, to shape the future of agriculture and food and their role in achieving sustainable development.

Together we are working to make agri-food research and innovation more effective, responsive and equitable, towards achieving Sustainable Development outcomes. The Partners in GFAR are growing fast, with strong representation from across public, private and civil society sectors at all levels and among all actors involved in the generation, access and use of agricultural knowledge and innovation.
